This course teaches the principles of relational database design and introduces the student to Microsoft's SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS). Students will begin with the fundamentals of data modeling, then move into database design, data manipulation and database security and maintenance. Students will receive an overview of SQL Server Integration Services and learn to create eye-catching and informative reports in SQL Server Reporting Services.
During this one week course (two weeks on the evening schedule) students will learn the skills needed to turn raw data into true business value.

- Design Considerations for Supporting Ad-hoc queries

*Each day represents a six-hour daytime class. Evening classes will be for two weeks and each day will be covered in two days.
