ASP.Net Development Training with C# 2008

Rites LLC is pleased to offer a series of training classes focused on the latest in Microsoft .Net development technologies.  The first course will provide you with a solid understanding of the .Net framework and C# language fundamentals, as well as hands-on practice working on projects for real-world businesses.

• .Net Framework Overview
• The Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment
• Customizing the IDE
• Anatomy of an ASP.Net web site
• Working with .Net namespaces
• C# language syntax
• C# class properties and methods

Day 2:

• Working with the XHTML and Cascading Style Sheets
• Implementing Code-behind pages
• Responding to internal and user-generated events
• Web forms controls properties and methods

Day 3:

• Working with code-behind and program flow logic
• Creating robust code with exception handling
• Using the Visual Studio debugging tools
• Building your own Intellisense

Day 4:

• Visual Studio data controls
• Working with SQL Server and OLEDB Data
• Linq to SQL and the Entity Framework
• Storing and retrieving data with web forms
• Data access best practices

Day 5:

• Web site security and user authentication
• Controlling access and user permissions
• Customizing user information with profiles
• Building and deploying the web site
